Rudy Gobert, not Anthony Davis should win the Defensive Player of the Year award, according to Joe Ingles.
Ingles believes his teammate in the Utah Jazz, Gobert, is the best defender in the NBA.
“I would hope so, I think for the last few years he’s obviously been in that top echelon. Do I think he’s the best defender in the league? Absolutely,” Ingles said, via Sarah Todd of DeseretNews.
