Milwaukee Bucks guard Pat Connaughton revealed that he tested positive for the coronavirus and is not yet with the team in Orlando.

“I did not travel with our team after I tested positive,” Connaughton told ESPN and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I am healthy and I feel great and I am excited to join my teammates in Orlando once I meet all the NBA protocols.”

Positive coronavirus tests caused the Bucks to shut down their practice facility on July 5, four days before traveling to Orlando.

Connaughton, 27, is averaging 5.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game this season.

The Bucks are also still without guard Eric Bledsoe, as he tested positive earlier this month.

It remains to be seen if Connaughton or Bledsoe will be ready for the Bucks’ first of eight “seeding games” or if the team will make sure they’re back to 100 percent by the playoffs.

The Bucks open up their NBA restart against the Boston Celtics on July 31.
