Los Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley joined the New Orleans Pelicans sharp-shooter JJ Redick and Tommy Alter on The JJ Redick Podcast. Beverley, who is known for being a hard-nosed defender and a hard worker, revealed that working out with Kawhi Leonard changed his whole game.

The 32-year-old guard admitted that he thought he was a tough guy who worked hard. But, Leonard was on another level. Beverley went as far as to call him ‘a human machine’.

Via Nico Martinez of Fadeaway World:

“Let call Kawhi. I go down there and worked out with him. I thought I was a guy who worked hard when I left there, working hard was a very different mindset to what I thought I had. Working out with that man change my whole life, changed my whole game. He’s a human-machine.”
