Charles Barkley is known for making bold predictions and has yet another one for basketball fans. On Inside the NBA, Charles Barkley said, “if the Portland Trail Blazers get in the playoffs, they will beat the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round.”
Though this opinion sounds insane, the Trail Blazers defeated the Lakers in their last matchup. The only issue is they would have to beat them four out of seven times, which is not an easy task. Los Angelas has only lost back to back games twice this year.
Additionally, the Lakers have LeBron James, who never loses in the first round, and now has Anthony Davis by his side. The Blazers could definitely give the Lakers a run for their money, but their current priority is snatching the 8th seed from the Memphis Grizzlies.
