Barcelona is still expected to re-negotiate the pre-coronavirus contracts in order to reduce the budget for the 2020-21 season, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Despite the deal with starting point guard Nick Calathes and the agreement with Sarunas Jasikevicius to become the head coach of the team, Barca will take measures to reduce the costs of the team.

The team will reduce their roster from 13 to 15 players, while the new contracts will get lower than the pre-coronavirus era.

The 2019-20 season presented Barcelona to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and ACB audience with a team-record 41.5 million euros budget. This number is projected to get decreased by 10% to 15%.
