LA Clippers sixth man extraordinaire Lou Williams has decided to join the team. On Wednesday night, when the team arrived, Williams was seen hopping off the plane with his teammates.

Lou Williams will be a crucial part for what the Clippers are trying to do in Orlando. He is the third-best scorer on the team and leads the best bench in the league. Depth in these games will be important. The coronavirus is one reason why but the mental aspect of playing in these games is another thing also.

According to ESPN, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said this about if Williams play:

“As far as Lou, all indications [are] that yes, he is [playing],” Rivers said on a Zoom call with reporters Wednesday. “Obviously, up until we get on the plane, anything can happen. But I do expect Lou to be with us. I would be very surprised if he’s not.”

When everything finally got down to it, Williams was indeed on the plane. Now the Clippers have their microwave scorer to complement their superstars in the starting lineup. Losing Landry Shamet was a big loss to their depth, but it was a godsend for Williams to decide to play.
