Brandon Davies will continue to play for Barcelona until the end of the 2021-22 season, as the Spanish “giant” announced on Wednesday.
Both sides agreed to the extension, after Davies’ successful season, his first with the “Blaugrana”. The BYI alumni averaged 9.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest in EuroLeague.
After the EuroLeague season came abruptly to an end due to the coronavirus pandemic, Davies returned to action in June for the Spanish ACB league.
Despite the disappointing loss to Baskonia in the ACB’s Final, the former Zalgiris big man put up 10.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest in the 7-game tournament.
