Matisse Thybulle has developed a bond with his veteran teammate Tobias Harris. The Philadelphia 76ers rookie talked about various topics on the Sixers official website.

One of those was the way that Harris helped him embrace his platform as an NBA player to take stand against racial injustice.

“I think actions speak volumes. It helps to have a guy like Tobias as a big brother, and a teammate, and a friend who can be part of these things, and encourage me to do these types of things. And also to be in a city where the turnout, and the passion behind this movement, is so strong,” Thybulle said, per NBA.com.

The rookie excelled both on and off the court this season. He had a great rookie season, until the NBA “pause” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, becoming an important rotational piece for head coach Brett Brown.
