Mike Malone said he is expecting Nikola Jokic to join the Denver Nuggets in Orlando for the restart of the NBA.
Jokic has tested positive for the coronavirus and wants two negative tests within 24 hours in order to be medically cleared to play.
“Next Tuesday, we depart for Orlando. The hope and expectation is that Nikola Jokic will be with us on that plane…From everything that I have heard and talked to him, he feels great and is excited,” the head coach of the Nuggets said, per ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.
