Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will continue rehab on his Achilles and will not accompany the team to Orlando for the season restart.

The Nets will be without several players in Orlando.

Durant is recovering from injury and won’t play or travel with the team.

Kyrie Irving is recovering from injury and won’t play, but hasn’t officially stated if he’ll travel to Orlando, but given his stance on the restart, it’s likely he doesn’t make the trip.

Wilson Chandler elected to opt out for family concerns.

DeAndre Jordan tested positive for COVID-19 and decided to opt out of playing, while Spencer Dinwiddie, who also tested positive, is considering sitting out the restart.

Finally, Nicolas Claxton is out with a shoulder injury and won’t travel with the team.

Durant believes that even if he was healthy, he would have sat out the NBA restart due to the risks involved with the coronavirus pandemic.

“I feel, me right now, I probably wouldn’t have played because the unknown going into that situation looks crazy right now, seeing so many new cases,” Durant previously said. “It’s just so unpredictable. It’s easy for me to say right now because I’m injured, but I probably wouldn’t have went down there.”

Washington Wizards star John Wall also won’t travel to Orlando, as he recovers and rehabs from an Achilles injury like Durant.
