Argentinian legend Luis Scola will remain in Italy and sign with Pallacanestro Varese of the Italian Serie A league next week.
Varese reportedly talked the 40-year-old into a two-year deal, but the second year is not a priority, as he will play his final professional season with the team.
The Serie A season and wearing the Argentina jersey at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics will be Scola’s final goals.
Earlier this month, Scola parted ways with Olimpia Milan after averaging 9.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game with the club in Euroleague play and 11.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in Serie A play.
