Even though JR Smith emerged as the favorite to replace Avery Bradley on the Los Angeles Lakers roster when the season resumes, it seems he will have to seriously compete for the spot. Nick Young is reportedly in talks with the Purple & Gold too.

One of Young’s best friends wrote on Instagram that the Lakers contacted Swaggy P. The 35-year-old shooting guard has already played for the team through 2013-2017. The best season for Young was in 2013-2014 when he averaged 17.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

After leaving the Lakers in 2017, the Los Angeles native joined the Golden State Warriors and won his only championship with them in 2018.

Young played just four NBA games since the 2018-2019 season when he joined the Denver Nuggets in December for twenty days.
