Various players and teams are leading the push to allow family and friends into the NBA bubble environment earlier than August 30, per Sam Amick of The Athletic.

In particular, the LA Clippers made calls with the league suggesting for at least one close member of the players’ family be allowed to join him in Orlando at the start of the post-season.

Also, the Boston Celtics’ head coach Brad Stevens has been asking the league to reconsider its decisions to not allow families of front-office executives, coaches, and trainers at any point.

Players are reportedly capable of booking a maximum of 17 rooms at the Walt Disney World Resort for guests following the first round, but they will be responsible for the costs.
