Indiana Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon has tested positive for coronavirus, according to J. Michael of The Indianapolis Star.

“I’m doing well, feeling well and progressing well,” Brogdon said in a statement. “I plan to join my teammates in Orlando for the resumption of the NBA season and playoffs.”

Brogdon is the second notable NBA player to test positive joining Nikola Jokic.

On June 23, the NBA began testing players on teams headed to Orlando for the season’s return-to-play.

There were reportedly four players on a Western Conference playoff team who tested positive, as well as two Phoenix Suns players, but those players have not been named.

Brogdon and other players who test positive will have to quarantine until they’re symptom-free and considered recovered.

Once that happens, they can travel to Orlando for group workouts and training camp.

The Pacers are currently tied for fifth place in the Eastern Conference with the Philadelphia 76ers, two games behind the Miami Heat.
