Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic tested positive for coronavirus in Serbia and his return to the U.S. is temporarily delayed.
Jokic has been asymptomatic since testing positive last week and is expected to be cleared to travel to Denver within a week, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
It was recently reported that Jokic might have come in contact with Partizan NIS player Nikola Jankovic who tested positive for the virus after attending a game in Serbia.
Assuming Jokic can recover before the Nuggets travel to Orlando, the 25-year-old should be able to participate in training camp with the team and be ready for the NBA’s return-to-play.
Tennis star Novak Djokovic who attended that game and hung out with Jokic, also tested positive.
