Steve Kerr claimed NBA players will lose plenty of money if they decide not to play in the restart of the season in Orlando.

The head coach of the Golden State Warriors admitted there is no easy answer on what is best for the players, yet he is optimistic a solution will be found, given the great partnership between the league and the NBPA.

“On the one hand, you’ve got a league that’s trying to keep their business going, keep their revenue coming in. You’ve got a players union that has a lot of players who want to make their money, and deservedly so.

You know there’s a very short window for a professional athlete to make his money, and a lot of guys are going to lose plenty of money if they sit out.

And then on the flip side of that, you’ve got the social and political atmosphere that we’re living in right now and so there is no easy answer.

I think the only thing you can do is to do what the NBA has always done which is listen to it’s players, communicate with them, and collaborate.

And I think that’s one of the greatest advantages that the NBA has over the other sports is that there’s been a real partnership, especially when it comes to social issues,” Kerr said in a recent interview on 95.7 The Game.
