The Toronto Raptors remain undecided on training camp’s location as the NBA season is heading towards its return. The teams are set to play their first official games in 31st of July, while they are bound to arrive in Orlando on July 7.

The defending champions still need to determine where their training camp will take place, as many players of the team returned to the USA during the hiatus.

“We haven’t really made a final decision on it on a date to reconvene, or where we’re going, or any of that kind of stuff yet,” Raptors head coach Nick Nurse told reporters Tuesday, per Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press, via theScore. “We’ve made plans on both sides of the border, just for doing it as safe as possible. It’s kind of our first and foremost priority – then maybe as quickly as possible, too.”

The Raptors, along with 4 other NBA franchices, asked permission to report directly to the protected environment in Florida for training camp due to COVID-19 restrictions.

“We still don’t quite have all the information, but that’s getting closer,” Nurse claimed. “Day by day, it gets closer, and then we’ll make a final decision. We’ll have to do a lot of things, as you guys might guess. We’ll have to do some testing right away. Before we make any moves, we’ll have to get a lot of things in place.”
