LeBron James could win his fourth NBA title with a third different team this season. He won championships twice with the Miami Heat and once with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Even though this would be a rare achievement, sports analyst Skip Bayless thinks that it would not reignite the GOAT debate.

According to him, the debate was settled once and for all when the Chicago Bulls dynasty docuseries ‘The Last Dance’ came out. “How can you reignite a wet match? ‘The Last Dance’ was his last dance. It’s case closed, game over, good night King,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED, adding that this would be an asterisk championship which will be known as the “Covid Championship”.

Co-host Shannon Sharpe was of a different opinion.”What debate? We haven’t seen a player like LeBron be this dominant in Year 17. He’s going to win his 4th title with 3 different teams, 4 Finals MVPs…we won’t even have to talk anymore,” he said.

LeBron and the Lakers are in a good position to win a championship this season as they are occupying the first place in the Western Conference and are likely to keep it. Moreover, they have defeated two of their main rivals, the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers, prior to the season suspension.
