The Phoenix Suns will have the chance to play in full force, when the NBA season resumes, as Kelly Oubre Jr. is expected to return from meniscus surgery, when the season resumes on July 31.

Suns owner Robert Sarver clarified that on Arizona Sports’ Burns & Gambo Thursday when asked if Oubre will play.

“Yes,” Sarver said per Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. “I expect he will play, yes.'” The two-way Phoenix Suns forward was having a great season, before the hiatus, averaging 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks per game.

According to Sarver, Frank Kaminky is also expected to play for the Suns, who will need enough “firepower” to overcome a 5-game deficit from the 8th seeded Memphis Grizzles. Kaminsky had suffered a right patella stress fracture in December.
