Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe is convinced that the Los Angeles Lakers are destined to win the championship this season. “GOAT James is the best player in the NBA, so it doesn’t matter. Your fate is sealed, Skip. It’s inevitable: Champs 2020, the Los Angeles Lakers,” Sharpe said to co-host Skip Bayless on UNDISPUTED while debating with him about who will win the NBA in 2020.
The Lakers are currently sitting atop the Western Conference with a 49-14 record, followed by the Clippers (44-20). Both of the team’s superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis are having solid seasons with the former being one of the top favorites to win the MVP award.
James is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game. Meanwhile, Davis is having equally impressive stat line – 26.7 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
