In a recent interview on The Lake Lake Show, Los Angeles Lakers two-way player Devontae Cacok mentioned that he was set for a call-up before the NBA suspension.

The 23-year-old forward/center stated that he was to be on the Lakers’ roster for the March 13 match-up against the Houston Rockets. But then the suspension hit. Specifically during his G League game for the South Bay Lakers against the Austin Spurs on March 11.

He revealed that there was a schedule arranged for his two-way contract. Which provided days with the Lakers towards the back-end of the season. However, Cacok did state that he’s not sure what happening with the schedule moving forward.

“The next day the Lakers were supposed to play the Rockets. I was supposed to get a call-up the next day… we’re still waiting to see what’s happening with us two-ways.”

In the G League, this season Cacok has been impressing. Posting averages of 19.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. On a 65.9% conversion rate from the field. All in just 23.9 minutes per game, through 33 contests.
