Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James are the top two favorites to win the MVP title this season. Former NBA player and current analyst Jalen Rose thinks the Bucks superstar has the upper hand over the Los Angeles Lakers superstar in the MVP race. He explained his reasoning for ESPN’s NBA Countdown.

“LeBron James leads the league in assists and they have the best record in the West. And on his own team he’s second in points, rebounds, steals and blocks. Anthony Davis leads in those other four categories. Giannis does not have that luxury. His second best player Chris Middleton has to watch Giannis lead the team in those categories. That’s why I feel he’s the MVP.”
