Texas Tech’s Davide Moretti signs multi-year deal with Olimpia Milano

Texas Tech guard David Moretti will start his pro career in EuroLeague, as Olimpia Milano officially announced the multi-year deal between the two sides earlier today.

Moretti is the first signing of the 2020-2021 season for the Italian powerhouse. The Texas Tech guard had over 100 games in the collegiate level averaging 9.1 points per game in his career with the Red Raiders.

Davide Moretti is the oldest son of Paolo Moretti, who won three Italian championships in his playing career and the silver medal at the 1997 European Championship with the Italian National Team.

Davide had also several appearances on youth level with the Italian NT, including the 2014 Under 17 World Championship and the 2016 Under 18 European Championship when he helped the team conquered the bronze medal.
