DELANEY KUBAN BOUND?

Bayern Munich guard Malcolm Delaney looks to be heading to Lokomotiv Kuban on a 2-year deal worth nearly $3.0million, sources in Russia say.

Delaney has won three titles in his three years in Europe; one with Elan Chalon in France, a title in Ukraine with Budivelnik Kiev and just last season, he won Bundesliga honours in Munich.

There is no news on whether Delaney can opt out, a year into the deal though.

DOELLMAN LEAVES VALENCIA

Valencia have announced that Liga Endesa MVP Justin Doellman is to leave the club after refusing an extra year with the Eurocup champions.

It is likely that the American will join champions Barcelona, where he is rumoured to have agreed a 2-year deal.

JAMES AND DWIGHT TO MEET WITH MELO?

Carmelo Anthony is now a free agent and the forward is meeting with the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

Melo will be greeted by Rockets’ guard James Harden and big man Dwight Howard, who will make the pitch for Anthony to hopefully become a Rockets player, ESPN’s Marc Stein reports.

Anthony, who failed to make the NBA Playoffs for the first time in his career last season with New York, met with the Chicago Bulls earlier. Leading guard Derrick Rose stated that he would not influence Anthony’s possible move to Chicago.

EUROBASKET 2015 LIKELY TO BE IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES?

Dejan Bodirga said that Eurobasket 2015 will likely be organized by four different countries with the final round that will be played in one of them.

Bodiroga added that the cost to organize the entire tournament will be 6 million of euros (1.55 if organized by four countries).

Bodiroga added that only Spain and Turkey will likely apply to organize the tournament by their own.
