HADAR NAMED AS NEW MACCABI HAIFA COACH

After relinquishing the Israeli crown back to Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, Maccabi Haifa are now looking in a different direction for next season after Danny Franco stood down as head coach.

Maccabi have named Rami Hadar as their new head coach as reported on Twitter by David Pick.

BANVIT DENIES COACH ITOUDIS DEPARTURE

Banvit head coach Dimitris Itoudis, a CSKA Moscow target will stay in Turkey next season according to Banvit.

DIRK NOWITZKI WOULD LOVE CARMELO IN DALLAS

Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki has said that he would love to have Carmelo Anthony back in the Western Conference only with the Mavericks.

“If Carmelo would really love to come here, we’d love to have him,” Nowitzki told Dallas radio station, 105.3 The Fan.

Anthony can opt out of the final year of his contract this summer and file for free agency. The Knicks want to keep him but he plans to opt out of his deal, according to reports.
The Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets are listed in reports as the top candidates to land Anthony, but the Mavericks could be a possible.
