The weekend has begun and the end of the Spanish regular season is in sight as they prepare for the Playoffs. So the gossip for this weekend starts, unsurprisingly in Spain.

All-ACB First Team announced

Three Real Madrid players and two from Valencia have been named in Spain’s top team as no one from Barcelona or Unicaja Malaga have been put forward.

1st Team: Sergio Rodriguez (Real Madrid), Rudy Fernandez (Real Madrid), Justin Doellman (Valencia), Romain Sato (Valencia), Nikola Mirotic (Real Madrid).

Kyle Kuric to leave Estudiantes

As reported by ACBPlaneta; American guard Kyle Kuric is likely to leave Estudiantes at the end of the season after spending two seasons with the club.

Kuric averaged 13.6 points and 3.4 assists this season as his side look likely to narrowly avoid relegation from the Liga Endesa.

Leeds Carnegie sign Austrian shooter

British Basketball League side Leeds Carnegie have signed Austrian scorer Matthias Weissl from Sulzburg.

The shooting guard averaged an impressive 26.1 points a game in the Austrian league as he signs a one-year deal with Leeds, as they prepare to play their first season in the BBL having played last season in the England Basketball League, Division 1.

Leeds Carnegie won the EBL Division 1 Playoff title last season in Manchester, beating the favoured Reading Rockets.

PG24 will play against Miami

Indiana Pacers guard Paul George has been cleared to play against the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals having suffered a concussion in Game 2.

He is likely to play and to start, despite having not practiced since being concussed. The series is currently tied at 1-1.
