Lavar Ball is convinced that his son Lonzo will make a run in the playoffs. He made another bold statement by saying the New Orleans Pelicans will eliminate the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.
“Just like Golden State upset Dallas many years ago… guess what? This time comes back around and it would be a time for the Pelicans to do that. AD and what’s the name… LeBron, they not gonna last. All you got to do is double team AD and LeBron till they are so tired,” father Ball explained how the Pelicans would achieve that on latest episode of ‘Load Management’ podcast.
For that to happen, though, New Orleans (28-36) would, first of all, need to climb two spots in the Western Conference. Currently, the last playoff spot is occupied by the Memphis Grizzlies (32-33).
