Chris Paul headlines upcoming documentary detailing the Donald Sterling racism saga

Chris Paul and a number of other NBA figures associated with the Los Angeles Clippers during the Donald Sterling saga will take fans behind the scenes of one of the most remarkable events in league history in an upcoming documentary called Blackballed.

Per a press release, Blackballed is a “powerful documentary series that examines race in America through the lens of one of the most explosive events in recent sports history – the Donald Sterling expulsion”.

Paul is joined by current Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and former teammates JJ Redick and DeAndre Jordan in a recollection of the events that took place during the 2014 playoffs, when they – along with several of the biggest names in sports, politics, business and media – took an unprecedented stand that led to Sterling’s downfall, as well as a shift in the way racism is handled in sports.

Blackballed is set to debut on Quibi on May 18.
