According to Marc Stein of The New York Times, NBA told the teams they will be allowed to use their practice facilities starting this Friday (May 8), as initially intended. This will be done in states where shelter-in-place restrictions have been loosened.

Though, not all players are keen on returning to practice due to safety concerns. Also, some teams, such as the New Orleans Pelicans, will not be re-opening their practice facilities on the first day when they are allowed and instead will wait more.
