Jared Dudley had no idea what he was getting into when he asked his Los Angeles Lakers teammates to send videos of their best dunks in a recent group chat. As the veteran recalled during the team’s Instagram Live a few days ago, DeMarcus Cousins simply sent videos of every Laker he put on a poster.
“Cousins started sending videos of every Laker player he dunked on,” Dudley revealed. “Myself, Danny Green. I think AD was involved, JaVale was another. Cousins was bored.”
The injured Cousins was waived by the team earlier this year so they could make moves in the free agent market but he was still allowed to use facilities up until the coronavirus lockdown came down and is expected to be picked up by them again in future. He’s still part of their group chats after all.
