Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic will see his first sneaker from the Jordan Brand release this Thursday after signing with the company in December.
The shoe, called the Air Jordan 1 Mid: Mindfulness, doesn’t mark the start of his signature lineup – he’s not quite there yet – it’s a bespoke Air Jordan 1 Mid-top. It will become available from Nike.com, Footlocker.com, and House of Hoops Footlocker at 9 am CT.
Nike describes the shoe as “A cool, tranquil palette of greens and violets characterizes the upper. Both heels feature the opaque phrases, “Breathe & Center” and “Center & Breathe”,” in their press release.
The Air Jordan 1 Mindfulness is the first release of a three-shoe collection from Nike inspired by players’ pre-game rituals. The other players who will get their own releases are the Phoenix Mercury’s Brittney Griner (May 14), Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox and Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons (May 21), with Griner and Fox to share the same sneakers.
