Pat Riley admitted that his target is to bring the Miami Heat back to the top of the NBA.

The president of the Heat made it clear that his goal is to build another championship team.

“I don’t have much patience. You know me. I want to build another championship team and we’re close. Maybe we need another player. Maybe we need less. I don’t know. The point is we’re right there and we’re a contender, and I’m proud of that,” Riley said in a video released Wednesday by the Heat, via Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

Prior to the NBA suspension, Miami was fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 41-24 record.
