Scott Perry will be the general manager of the Knicks under the new President Leon Rose. Some league sources confirm this to SNY.

Perry has a new one-year deal for 2020-21. He previously served as general manager of former team president Steve Mills.

Rose has a strong relationship with Perry; they worked together on the trade that sent Carmelo Anthony – then Rose’s client – to Oklahoma City in 2017 shortly after Perry assumed his role with the Knicks. They had also worked together regularly during Perry’s stints in other teams’ front offices.

Rose had leaned on Perry since taking office as team president.
