Moving from South Europe to Eastern Europe now… one of Euroleague’s trademark clubs, Partizan, is struggling in their Top16 campaign, mainly due to injuries, as three of their starting players have all been ruled out with serious knee injuries. Although they beat the best Russian club, CSKA Moscow, two weeks ago in an attendance record-setting arena, things do not look bright for the young and enthusiastic club.
As mentioned above, three of their best scores are out, while their head coach has been diagnosed with diabetes and is sometimes unable to sit on the bench. On the other hand, Lokomotiv is on form, coming off two back to back wins and can not afford not to beat Partizan, if they are to stand a shot at playoffs qualification.
