Jamario Moon takes to Twitter, announces Olympiacos move?

Forward Jamario Moon has announced on Twitter that he will be leaving NBA D-League side the LA D-Fenders and is on his way to Euroleague champions Olympiacos.

The Greek side though haven’t released a statement about Moon’s arrival at the moment.

Moon tweeted: “It’s been fun @DFenders. U guys keep griding and I’ll be following u. #NewOpportunity #Olympiakos

The forward joined the Toronto Raptors in 2007 after impressing scouts at a three-day mini camp, organised by the club. In his career, Moon has played for the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers and the Charlotte Bobcats.

Moon has also had a brief spell in Mexico as well.

It has been reported that Moon will only be available for domestic games until the end of the Euroleague Top 16, should Olympiacos advance from the second stage of the competition.

In his last five games in the NBA D-League, Moon has averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2.6 steals a game. He has been shooting 50 percent from the field.
