Olympiacos gets Collins to replace Acie Law

Olympiacos successfully signed Mardy Collins, right before the Euroleague deadline, giving him the chance to be part of the team for the Top 16.

Acie Law’s injury proved to be more serious than expected, sidelining him for at least one and a half months, and at the same time the European Champions will have to fight their way through the Top 16 of Euroleague, and catch up with Panathinaikos in the Greek League.

As a result, the team announced today the signing of Mardy Collins who was playing for Sutor Montegranaro. The 30-years old guard, who was part of Los Angeles Clippers back in 2008 for two years, was the number 29 of the 2006 draft from New York Knicks. He is 1.98m tall and can play as a playmaker and shooting guard.
