Ben Simmons will be ready to play if the NBA decides to resume the season, according to Jackie MacMullan of ESPN.

The superstar of the Philadelphia 76ers was dealing with a back injury that was expected to keep him out until the playoffs (in mid-April).

MacMullan reports that Simmons’ lower back impingement has “all but dissipated”, so he is ‘good to go’ and is ready to play again.

In 54 games this year, Simmons was averaging 16.7 points, 8.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 steals for the Sixers.
