One of the best power forwards in Europe, Giorgos Printezis is the latest addition to the Euroleague 2010/20 All-Decade Team.
He started the decade playing for Unicaja Malaga and continued until now playing for Olympiacos Piraeus, with which he won two Euroleague titles.
Printezis is one of the most steady players in the Euroleage finishing fourth in PIR (2,916) and fifth in both scoring (2,696 points) and rebounds (1,117). There is no other power forward that has made more two-point shots (882) in the EuroLeague during the decade.
As Printezis said: “Personally I don’t like to talk a lot about myself. I try to avoid it in all the interviews to talk about that and even now I don’t want to do so. Okay, I cannot say that I’m not happy but I’m more happy that we succeeded a lot of things with my team in the last years. We give a lot of happy moments to our fans, we won two very important tittles, we’ve gone to the Final Four another two times and for me this is the most important.”
