Danilo Gallinari of the Oklahoma City Thunder said his desire is to finish his career in his home country of Italy.

Gallinari will become a free agent at the end of the season, but has no idea yet whether he will re-sign with the Thunder or join another NBA team.

Gallinari stated, though, that he wants to play for Armani Milano in the EuroLeague before retiring from basketball.

“Absolutely, it would be great to play a couple of seasons at a high level in the EuroLeague and win with that team (Armani Milano). I’d like to finish my career in this way,” Gallinari said in an interview with the Italian radio station Radio 1 Rai, via Nicola Lupo of Sportando.

Gallinari played four seasons with Milano before joining the New York Knicks, who selected him with the sixth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft
