Dwyane Wade talked about his feelings when he won his first NBA title with the Miami Heat in 2006.

After Dallas took a 2-0 series lead, Wade took over and led the Heat to four straight wins and the franchise’s first NBA championship, averaging 39.3 points.

“It was amazing. For me I never won a championship of that magnitude. Whatever sport I played I never won that sport as a teen.

For me to get it in the NBA in my third year, it made me really hungry. Made me hungrier than I could ever be. It was an amazing feeling. It was one of the best feelings ever,” Wade said during his AMA session with Bleacher Report on Friday.

Wade was named Finals MVP after averaging 34.7 points in the series.
