Kevin Durant is not expected to play this season, according to his agent Rich Kleiman.
Even though he says he has not even spoken with Durant about that possibility, Kleiman believes it is not very realistic for the two-time NBA champion to return this season.
“I promise you, Kevin and I have not talked about that. And I know it sounds crazy, but my assumption has been that wasn’t very realistic. I know when the time will be right to have that conversation but it just hasn’t been that time and it just doesn’t feel like it’s needed,” Kleiman told Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.
Durant is recovering from a torn Achilles he suffered in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
