New York Knicks point guard Elfrid Payton has donated 10,000 masks to medical workers in New Orleans, his hometown.
He attended high school in Louisiana and then played for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in college.
Payton also thanked workers on Twitter, tweeting “Thank you for your sacrifice, we will get through this together!”
Many players, including stars like Luka Doncic have made donations to help healthcare workers, who have continued to risk their own health to help others. Today it was Payton doing his part to help healthcare workers.
