Los Angeles Clippers‘ point guard Patrick Beverley is working out ‘like a madman‘ during the NBA lockdown and getting ready as if the season was about to restart. He, as well as other NBA players, wants to find out who the best team this season is.

With high expectations before the season due to the signings of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the Clippers were touted among the favorites to win it all. They are in a good position for that. The Clippers are second in the Western Conference behind city rivals Lakers.

For Beverley, it would be disappointing if his team does not get a chance to complete the season and finish what it started.

Per Arash Markazi of the Los Angeles Times:

“It would be hard if we didn’t get to finish what we started,” Beverley said. “We want to play now. We put together a team to win now, and all the hard work that we put into that, it would be hard to see it undone, but safety is first and if the season was canceled, we’ll quickly focus on next season. Basketball is a year-round thing for us. It’s not a seasonal thing. Most of us on the team play every single day. We take basketball very serious on the Clippers, so whether it’s this season or next season, we’ll be ready when it’s safe to come back.”
