Documentaries by LeBron James’ company nominated for 2 Sports Emmys

Uninterrupted, a media company launched by the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and Maverick Carter, is getting recognition. Two documentaries made by Uninterrupted, one of which features LeBron himself, were nominated for two Sport Emmys.

What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali, a 2019 documentary directed by Antoine Fuqua, was nominated for Outstanding long sports documentary. The film was produced by Maverick Carter, Muhammad Ahsan, Maren Domzalski, Antoine Fuqua, Bill Gerber, Noor Haydar, and LeBron James. It is based on life of a boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

The second nomination was given to The Shop, an American talk show TV series created by Paul Rivera. The Shop was nominated for Outstanding edited sports special or series. It stars professional LeBron James and Maverick Carter, who alongside guests have conversations and debates in a barbershop.
