Kobe Bryant scored 60 points in his final game four years ago today

Kobe Bryant carried the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-96 victory over the Utah Jazz in the final game of his incredible career.

He scored 60 points, going 22-50 on field goal attempts and 10-12 on free throw attempts. The Lakers trailed by 14 early in the fourth quarter but Bryant would not let them lose. He scored 23 points in the fourth quarter, knocking down a jump shot to put them ahead 97-96 with 31.6 seconds remaining. Soon after, he made a pair of free throws to ice the game.

He spent 20 memorable years with the Lakers, winning five titles and providing countless memories.

After the game Bryant gave his famous ‘Mamba out’ speech on the court. He addressed fans teammates and his family, thanking all of them.

Bryant was recently elected to the Hall of Fame, following his tragic death in a helicopter crash in January.
