It’s been a pretty rough spell for bookies and bettors alike, with all major sporting events on hold at the moment. Fortunately, though, the NBA is collaborating with ESPN to bring fans some form of basketball entertainment, with a televised H-O-R-S-E tournament set to commence on April 12.
The competition’s eight participants have already been announced. Current NBA stars Chris Paul, Trae Young, Mike Conley, and Zach Lavine will be looking to claim the bragging rights; they will be joined by retired icons in Paul Pierce and Chauncey Billups. Allie Quigley of the WNBA’s Chicago Sky and former Indiana Fever star Tamika Catchings, a soon to be Hall of Famer, will also be involved.
