Finland forward Hanno Mottola will miss the remainder of Eurobasket 2013 with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which he suffered against Greece.

Mottola will be out for an indefinite amount of time due to the injury. A minimum timespan will be around five months.

Mottola, who turned 37-years-old the day of the game against the Greeks, was likely to be appearing in his last Eurobasket with the Finland national team, as they travel to Ljubljana today to prepare for the second round, where they will face Croatia, Spain and Slovenia at the Stozice Arena.

Finland advanced from Group D in Koper with a 3-2 record, good enough for second place behind 5-0 Italy.

They play Croatia in Group F’s first game on Thursday afternoon, tip-off at 14:30.
