Rodman to train North Korea National Team (vid)

In a press conference in New York yesterday, Dennis Rodman has announced that he will be training North Korea basketball National Team for the 2016 Olympic Games.

Rodman recently visited North Korea for the second time in a short time span and again met the country’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, with whom he is a personal friend.

It is still unclear what will his official role be in the National Team, but he is expected to be one of the team’s several coaches, mainly in an advisory role regarding tactics.

Rodman also announced that he will organise exhibition games in North Korea, where NBA legends such as Scottie Pipen and Karl Malone, to further develop the so called basketball diplomacy.

The eccentric former NBA star even invited Kim Jong Un to New York to watch an NBA together, to which the North Korean leader replied: “That would be great”.
