Coach Mike Krzyzewski shared an interesting story when he was introduced to LeBron for the first time, when King James, 18, came to participate at Team USA training camp.
“I did notice how smart he [LeBron] is. These guys [Team USA players] played cards all the time. They’re just playing and I watched them play, trying to get to know them. There are a lot of them at the table,” coach K said.
“LeBron orchestrated the table, he knew what everybody had and knew whatever. And I said ‘this kid is really smart and he’s got the personality,” he added.
