Kareem Abdul-Jabbar contributes 900 protective goggles in UCLA Health Department

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will help University of California health department by donating 900 safety goggles. UCLA, like many other academic health departments, is fighting the coronavirus outbreak.

Jabbar, an UCLA product, had won multiple NCAA titles between 1966 and 1969. In his message, the NBA legend express his gratitude to the health care workers, who are on the front-line of the battle with the virus.

“I am honored to be able to use whatever resources I can to help UCLA Health continue its courageous and necessary work to protect the health of our community”
